Here the artist Stephen Brandes plays with the concept of the old posters which illustrate better than none the ebbs and flows of history, propaganda, obsolete ideologies and classic designs. He sourced a precious old handmade paper from Paris with its yellowed borders to create his image. The work plays on the irony that bringing back the ancient past may be some act of prophecy. Created and exhibited before the exit from No. 10 sometimes in the year 2020 A.D.
